In Memoriam

From Dexter's Yearbook biography:

"One of the hardest working members of the senior class was Dexter. He transferred to Blingum in his junior year and got into the swing of things by running for Council, then becoming our Fall Student Body President. Dexter played Varsity Football and Baseball, was in the Block B Society, on the Scholarship Society, Rally Commission, and was Treasurer and Chaplain of hi Hi-Y. Next year will find Dexter at Stanford or Princeton studying law."

In Classmate John Hansen's autobiographical sketch, he writes about Dexter"

"I got lucky when I took the Law School Aptitude Test, which made up for some mediocre grades, and I was accepted at Harvard Law School. Law school was really hard, but stimulating, and I liked Boston and city living. I also met up with BHS classmate Dexter Walcott who was in my law school class. Sadly Dexter passed away not long after graduating.".
