Vivien Burnett

Vivien Burnett, formerly classmate Sally Mullen, lives in Friday Harbor, a coastal community on San Juan Island in NW Washington. San Juan Island is one of a cluster of four major and over 170 minor islands that make up what is known as the San Juan Archipelago.

The San Juans lie at the confluence of the Strait of Juan De Fuca and the Strait of Georgia, and are about as close as you can get to the border between Canada and the United States. Vehicle access is only by the Washington State Ferry System. Transit times are long, and few and far between.

Vivien is the proprietor of the Dolphin Arts shop, located in the Cannery Row complex just a short walk from the Friday Harbor ferry slip. Dolphin Arts is an outlet for her art work and that of others. Vivien does screen printed art on clothes, cards, prints and original watercolors. In November 2005 Dolphin Arts celebrated its 15th anniversary.
