John currently resides in coastal North Carolina.

(26 January 2010) A note from John says that he and Linda have moved to Duluth MN to be near their daughter, son-in-law, and 6-year old grandson. Says John about Minnesota, "Life here is great for the active with lots of canoe camping in the BWCA, kayaking in (Lake) Superior, biking, hiking, X-C skiing, and music and other arts. "Minnesota Nice" is not a myth -- the folks here are wonderful." John forwards a current photo of him and his grandson canoeing the BWCA. BWCA aka Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
