Steve's yearbook bio read as follows:

"Steve really showed promise while at Burlingame. He was a member of the Football, Track, and Cross-Country teams, and participated in the M.D. Club (Mechanical Drawing), Science Club, Honor Society, and Public Address Commission. His pet peeve is girls who don't say "hello." Steve's secret wish is to get a bonue point in Mr. Fertig's class , but his real ambition is to be an electronics engineer. He plans to attend Cal under the NROTC plan."

(Ed. we have no information about Steve's life or career. In Mr. Fertig's math class, a bonus point was awarded when you could catch an error in the lecture or chalk board diagrams and formulae. This editor never got a bonus point, either!)
